Enjoy four dynamic performances featuring French music including Saint-Saëns, Ravel and Boulanger; the dramatic Bohemian composer, Smetana (to celebrate his 200th birthday); an unusual collaboration of bassoon and piano trio (ensemble-in-residence, the Horszowski Trio), a Saxophone Quintet by Zwilich plus numerous classics from Beethoven, Brahms and more.

    An unusual and exciting collaboration of bassoon and piano trio (ensemble-in-residence, the Horszowski Trio) in Jennifer Higdon's "Dark Wood," in addition to some Viennese music by Mozart, Schubert, and a little gem by Schoenberg specially arranged for piano trio and including some percussion instruments, followed by music of Gershwin, who admired Schoenberg so much that he wanted to study with him.
